The Bistro is located on Burton road - West Didsbury the area is home to a interesting mix of shops restaurants and bars, all independent and offering a varied range of cooking from across the world.

Bistro West 156 is a rustic, relaxed dining experience offering a range of dishes from around Eupope and not overlooking some great classic British dishes. Now in its 7th year, Philip & Rachel still cook on a daily basis creating interesting menus which are seasonal & make best use local producers, we dont follow trends or try to become a carbon copy of other restaurants around the city.

A good way to check us out is to try our mid week set dinner -

Three course dinner £18.95 or

£16.50 for two courses, served Monday - Thursday evenings from 6pm
